SPEAK

An old and tired man says; say what you will and the world will remain the same – I met it so and I guess I will leave it so.
A look at the sky, another at the earth – bear witness, if you will! A world molded by deed of words will indeed be transformed by words.

A ghetto child not fed by his dream, a desolate woman starving mouths to feed; a young girl sells dignity for food – soul buried in needs.
Wars fought by peaceful men urged and used by deceitful men, nations built on corpses and blood –   truth pushed beyond our reach.
Hushed voices speak within. Eyes quick turned to the left. Voices silenced by greed – bedraggle consciences rule our lives.
The truth beckons, what will you become? Will you let no one choice your path?
Speak and wrench the earth from waste. Speak woman, speak child; speak on your way to the grave and leave nothing left unsaid.
